On our recent trip to Japan, Sarah and I spent a day craft shopping in Shinjukyu and looking at fashion in Shibuya while the boys went to the Legoland Discovery Centre. Our favourite craft store in Shinjuku is Okadaya where we stocked up on some lovely craft supplies. Sarah spotted some delicious Macaron fabric (from Yuwa Live Life Collection) which featured all her favourite French treats.
We combined the Macaron fabric with some bright pink polka dots from the Atelier Akiko Collection from Lecien in this Eco Shopper Bag. It is bound to come in handy on our trip to Paris.
Eco bags are really handy when you are travelling - especially when you shop at markets. You can pop all of your shopping in one large bag which is easier to carry. We love the Fold Up Eco Bag pattern from I Love Patchwork by Rashida Coleman which we used for our Macaron Eco Shopper Bag. It features an inbuilt pouch for storing the folded bag when not in use and the handles are long enough to carry the bag on your shoulder.

Fabulous! I love the fabric and enjoy reading about your travels too.
Cute fabric! Your trip sounds marvellous, I am a teensy bit jealous ;-)

Je craque pour l'étoffe.....
I'm smelting away. Unfortunately I cannot read the japanese site and how to order it. I MUST have the Macarons fabric.
How do make to find always such great things?
The book also is a great proposal. I ordered it directly as a birthday gift for my friend hahaha.
I love to read your blog.
Best regards
Gabi
