When we were challenged this month over at QFD Creative to make a tutorial that related to storage, I decided to make a Peg Bucket. I have been using my new peg bucket this week and it is a big improvement on the one I was using. The carabiner hook is perfect for quickly attaching it to the washing line, and the drawstring closure prevents the pegs from ending up everywhere inside my laundry cupboard.
You can find the tutorial over at QFD Creative, as well as all the fabric supplies. You can easily purchase a carabiner (sometimes known as a karabiner) from an outdoor or camping store (they are used in hiking, canoeing, sailing etc).
My clever daughter, Sarah, used her graphic design skills to put together the Project Image below. Fortunately I took the outside photo a week or so ago when it was sunny!

What a great bucket to have hanging on your wash line. Makes me wish we had a wash line! I especially love that image Sarah created. Love your new blog look too!
Great work! And good idea :D
You have the coolest peg bucket on the block - very funky!
I agree, you must have the best looking clothes line in town.
Its just so cute.
love me :-)
I already have a STACK of projects waiting - why'd ya' have to go and post something so irresistible? Of course, mine would be in blues and greens. That much orange just makes you feel too HOT here in Florida.
Good job, Sarah!
This makes me want to get a clothes line just so I can have a uber cool bucket to hold my pegs too!

You guys should send this on over to how about orange... she would dig the peanuts out of this!

SOOO cute Lisa -- I love the hand stitching on the project. As always, while I've been gone, you've been very busy and inspirational!
that's so cute Lisa! I could probably even get my husband to hang out the wash if there was a carabiner involved :)
Clever chooks! Now I just need to hang it high enough and out of reach of the cubby-making smalls...
LOVE the bag. Gotta go find some fabric at least half as enticing as yours!
Your pattern is a very nice one, the drawstring closure is a good solution! The fabrics you used are beautiful! I'm going to check out the tutorial.
